Vintage With A Twist Booth — Trying to Keep Up!

It’s been tough this season, keeping up with the sales and replace items in the booth. The yard sales haven’t been as great as in past years and one of our favorite auction houses has gone down from one a week to one every two weeks. They say the economy is getting better, yet we are still seeing signs that people and the individual business owners are continuing to suffer. Hoping this comes to an end soon!

Maybe the second half of the yard sale – auction season will get better. Keeping my fingers crossed as we need some more inventory — especially furniture. We seem to be down to plant stands and side tables for the most part! Our larger pieces usually sell pretty quickly but we are having a hard time locating any new items. I am itching to try out a few styles I have read about and think will go over well with our customers. Maybe we need a road trip! Hmmmm, sounds like fun for a mom and 3 sisters!

Here are a few booth photos from our re-arrange in June. It looks different, even now, but I can’t seem to get caught up!

The economy seems to be playing havoc with lots of folks. Around here, we are seeing lots more yards sales, but it’s the little items that are up for sale. The booth looks great, though!
