We have a nice selection of vintage lamps at the booth right now. Some are from older family members and others are finds from our treasure hunting. Either way, I wanted to share them today.
Lamps are a great accent piece when decorating. They can add character, whimsy, a bit of the unexpected or just reinforce the style you have chosen for a room. Because they come in so many different shapes, colors and sizes, it’s fun to find one to go in your room. Most rooms need a lamp of some kind and an eco friendly alternative is to re-use vintage lamps.
Ceramic, plastic, metal and wood are just some of the materials used in making lamps. Take a look around your living room, family room, bedroom or wherever you decide you need a lamp and ask yourself these questions:
- Would your room look better with a totally different style lamp?
- One that is not necessarily in the same style as the rest of the decor?
- Would be prefer a bit of whimsy?
- Maybe you just want one that reinforces you current decorating style.
There is no right or wrong when choosing an accent lamp, only opinion and since it’s your house, your opinion is the only one that counts!
Here are some of the lamps we have in the booth right now. Would any of these work for you?
A pair of boudoir lamps
Very delicate roses on each side of this ceramic vintage lamp. Base painted gold.
Here is a close-up of the roses
This lamp has a greenish marble piece at the base and hits of green in the hand painting.
This lamp is newer than the others but the florals give it a vintage feel. Accented with gold.
The great thing about vintage lamps is that they can be very easily rewired with a lamp kit so you are sure the wiring is safe and up to today’s standards while still having a vintage look.
Look around your rooms. Could any of the benefit from a vintage lamp or two?

Your vintage lamps are beautiful. I think I can find some nice places in my home to add a vintage lamp or two.
