Cleaning Out the Garage for Spring/Summer

Written by on June 7, 2012 in Booth, DIY, Upcycle with 3 Comments

Our garage is chock-full of  miscellaneous items we picked up to eventually go in the booth. There weren’t a lot of auctions and sales through the winter but, somehow, we still ended up with a lot of stuff for the booth.

Now, the job is to get out there and sort these vintage items into piles. Some items can be cleaned and taken straight to the Vintage With A Twist booth while others need some TLC or repurposing. I took a few pictures last night to share. It really doesn’t show the depth and the breadth of what we have but you will definitely get the idea!

This keeping-the-booth full is hard work! We need to get down there and rearrange so we know what items to get ready first. Mom has been on vacation the last few weeks but she’ll be back today. Time to get rolling. Not to mention a HUGE miles long garage sales happens for two days this weekend and we need some space. We’ll probably end up joining the sales on one day and clearing out things that aren’t good enough for the booth. Then, shop ourselves on the other day.

Your garage looks like a find for me! I would love to tour that great HUGE length of yard sales and uncover wonderful treasures. Those basket hampers in the last photo look like the perfect candidates for some interesting Retro or Vintage decorating. Good luck with the work ahead of you.

LOL, yup! Sold those at the yard sale cause they needed some work and mom had other things she wanted to work on. The young lady that bought them was thrilled!
